The Anti Valentines Day event featuring ‘Sensations’

TORONTO UNDERGROUND CINEMA, DION CONFLICT AND EYESORE CINEMA PRESENT: SCREW VALENTINES!

Single and don’t know what to do while your happily couple friends gulp down papaya and copulate on red satin sheets?

Face it, when you’re single.. Valentines day truly sucks. While your friends grind away to “Lady in Red” with scented candles ablaze, what are you suppose to do? If only you could find cupid, do you feel like you wanna bitch slap that curly haired dude, and snap his lil’ bow and arrow in half?

Disgruntled jilted ex lovers unite finally with “SCREW VALENTINES!” an event for those of us not getting boxes of chocolate and getting that “soul mate” drunk off cheap champagne. SCREW VALENTINES! Is not just a film screening, but an event where before the film you can win prizes with games including: “Worst Heartbreak”, “Those crazy STD’s!” and “Pump and Dump”.

Then behold one of the biggest debaucheries of the “boogie nights” era of adult cinema, SENSATIONS. Margaret (perky Brigite Maier) sails on a ship set to the home of open minded morals, Amsterdam where she meets a young woman, a Hungarian violin player, and a British baroness who invites them all to her mansion. From there, Margaret goes on an journey through her sexual liberation.

With impressive cinematography and high production values (this was shot and being presented on 35mm film), the film was a huge hit at Cannes. During it’s original theatrical run, the film played for months with lineups around the block (in Hull, it was suppose to play for 2 weeks, but instead played in one theatre for half a year!). Dion Conflict proclaims “The hottest film I’ve ever seen, and I’ve seen A LOT of ‘em!” The film will either be shocking or arousing, or both.. but never to be forgotten.

Finally an event for the bachelors and bachelorettes, Dion Conflict hosts an evening for all the lonely hearts to turn our backs on those in love and say “SCREW VALENTINES!”
