Mark Hamill to Return as The Joker for The Killing Joke?

Fresh off its announcement at San Diego Comic Con, the animated adaptation of the infamous Batman story The Killing Joke potentially  just got a whole lot better.

Mark Hamill (Star Wars: The Force Awakens) is rumoured to be returning to lend his pipes as The Joker.

Deemed on of the most iconic Batman stories ever, this fan favourite was written by Alan Moore and illustrated by Brian Bolland. All those pining to see an animated retelling of the story probably couldn’t be happier, especially with a potential Hamill return as the cherry on top.

Hamill, who’s played the Clown Prince of Crime more than any other actor, announced his retirement from the character in 2011 after over a decade of voicing the legendary Batman villain – his last project being Rocksteady’s Batman: Arkham Knight. Actor Troy Baker took the reins in subsequent Arkham games.
