The Shelf Minisode: The Orphan Black Cast

Back in June when the last the season of Orphan Black had just begun airing we posted a couple minisodes featuring interviews with the show’s creators Graeme Manson and John Fawcett as well as the show’s star Tatiana Maslany and co-star Kristian Bruun. Everyone knows that Maslany is like an ensemble cast unto herself, but real fans of the show know that one of the things that makes it so great is the actual ensemble of actors that came together for five years to make this great show really pop.

We visited the Orphan Black set when they were just wrapping episode eight, and in addition to talking to Maslany, Bruun and the creators, we also had the pleasure of chatting with Jordan Gavaris (Felix), Maria Doyle Kennedy (Mrs. S.), Kevin Hanchard (Art), and Evelyne Brochu (Delphine).

The series finale aired on Space last weekend, and we now know more than the cast did when we chatted with them. So in case you haven’t finished the show yet, don’t worry, there are no spoilers at all in these interviews. Instead the cast talks about cures for their imminent separation anxiety, what made the series so special, and imaginary spin-offs for their respective characters (Hint: one of them wants a Bob Ross-type show but with more nudity).
