I don’t think any other game releasing this year includes such a perfect release date like the upcoming Luigi’s Mansion 3 on Nintendo Switch. One of the busiest times of the year for the gaming industry, vying for the best spot and Nintendo picks October 31, 2019, to release one of the spookiest sequels ever. Okay, maybe not that spooky, but it’s up there.
When Luigi’s friends go missing on vacation, it’s up to our reluctant hero to save them from the ghosts in the Last Resort hotel! Join forces with Gooigi, slam ghosts, & prepare for a spooky treat when #LuigisMansion3 arrives to #NintendoSwitch on 10/31!https://t.co/3fg4O2t6PB pic.twitter.com/iNM9BKNKg5

Developed by Next Level Games, the third game in the Luigi’s Mansion series is out in just three months. Thankfully, this one didn’t get delayed or pushed to 2020, and I’m eagerly awaiting a new adventure with Luigi. Especially since I loved Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon but felt the 3DS to be lacking as a platform for the title.
Luigi embarks on a dream vacation with Mario and friends upon receiving an invitation to a luxurious hotel. However, his dream quickly becomes a nightmare when King Boo reveals everything had been a ploy to capture Mario and friends. With the assistance of Professor E. Gadd once again, the reluctant and cowardly hero Luigi traverses up and down treacherous floors of the now-ominous hotel on a quest to save them.
I’m also interested in ScareScraper mode, which allows for up to eight players to play together as they clear objectives on a series of floors.
