Parker Mott

Parker Mott studied Film and History at Queen's University and has been writing film criticism since high school. He has written for publication outlets based in New York, Los Angeles, and (of course) Toronto. He also is pursuing a career as a writer-director, with his new short What Floor recently released, along with a feature in the works. He considers FILM the ultimate popular visual medium - virtually unsurpassable - and the movie theatre like a cathedral for great stories. He does his best to witness his cinematic experiences on the big screen. Currently, he's brainstorming a book on the works of Paul Thomas Anderson, so that man's movies are what is on his Dork Shelf right now. And also anything Hitchcock.
