Over the weekend, Bandai Namco revealed the opening move for Digimon Survive, the upcoming brand-new game set in a mysterious world.

Featuring an all-new cast led by Takuma Momozuka, the group of friends find themselves lost one day during a school camping trip. Inevitably, they end up in a new world full of danger and Digimon.

You’ll join the group as they fight their way back to their world, making difficult decisions and dealing with deadly enemies. Player choice will affect the game and the evolution of their partner Digimon, as you engage monsters in a strategic battle system.

I’m really looking forward to Digimon Survive because it’s hitting a series of checkmarks for me. I’m a sucker for a good SRPG title, and I’ve always loved the lore and designs of the Digimon since day one, and I’m alwasy eager to find a way back to the digital world.
