The time has finally come and the waiting is over. The beloved novel THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES is finally coming to theatres everywhere on Wednesday, August 21st, and Dork Shelf and eOne Films want to send ten lucky winners in Toronto pairs of passes to an exclusive RED CARPET PREMIERE of the film on Thursday, August 15th at 7:00pm with the cast and director in attendance!
Set in contemporary New York City, a seemingly ordinary teenager, Clary Fray (Lily Collins) discovers she is the descendant of a line of Shadowhunters, a secret cadre of young half-angel warriors locked in an ancient battle to protect our world from demons. After the disappearance of her mother (Lena Headey), Clary must join forces with a group of Shadowhunters, who introduce her to a dangerous alternate New York called Downworld, filled with demons, warlocks, vampires, werewolves and other deadly creatures. Based on the worldwide best-selling book series by Cassandra Clare and directed by Harold Zwart (The Karate Kid), the film also stars Jamie Campbell Bower, Kevin Zegers, Kevin Durand, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, and Jared Harris.
