Nels Anderson was lead designer on Mark of the Ninja at Klei Entertainment. Previously he was a gameplay programmer on DeathSpank at Hothead Games. He is currently working on a mystery game with Campo Santo, a new studio featuring the talents of designers Sean Vanaman and Jake Rodkin (The Walking Dead), and illustrator extraordinaire Olly Moss.
Anderson is one of the most talented and thoughtful game designers working in the industry today. His Gamercamp talk will cover “The Importance Of Systems In Game Design For Both Creating Personal Experiences And Addressing The Problem Of Learned Helplessness.”
