You may know Joel Edgerton for his acting roles in films such as Warrior, The Great Gatsby, and Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith, but next month you can catch him in The Gift, a thriller that also marks his directorial debut.

In the film, Jason Bateman and Rebecca Hall play a young married couple whose lives are thrown into a harrowing tailspin when an acquaintance from the husband’s past (Edgerton) brings mysterious gifts and a horrifying secret to light after more than 20 years.

The Gift opens August 7th but we’re giving away tickets to see it in Toronto, Vancouver, Ottawa, Winnipeg, Edmonton, or Calgary on August 5th. Let us know what you thought of the film using the hashtag #GiftMovie
