Hello again Dork Shelf-ers and welcome to what may very well be the end of the world as you know it. If all that we’ve heard about 2012 is to be believed, we might want to have fun while we still can. Well, Dork Shelf and the lovely folks at eOne Films want ten lucky winners in TORONTO to seek out some friends for a great time at the end of the world.
In conjunction with the release of the new Steve Carell and Keira Knightley starring comedy SEEKING A FRIEND FOR THE END OF THE WORLD, we want to send you to a special advance screening of the film on Thursday, June 21st at 9:00pm. Why so late, you might ask? Because at the theatre starting at 7:30pm, the wonderful folks at EOne Films will be doing something very special and very fun for the attendees that we can’t really tell you about It’s a surprise! An awesome one! Wear all the clothes you never wear! There could also be more prizes! And more awesome stuff!

The feature directorial debut of screenwriter and actress Lorene Scafaria (Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist), Seeking a Friend for the End of the World is set in the near future, exploring what people will do when humanitys last days are at hand. As the respective journeys of Dodge (Carell) and Penny (Knightley) converge, the two spark to each other and their outlooks brighten.
Seeking a Friend for the End of the World opens in theatres everywhere on June 22nd, but we want to help give you guys a jump start on the apocalypse.
