Based on the classic children’s tale The Borrowers and working from a script co-written by master animator Hayao Miyazaki, The Secret World of Arrietty tells the story of a sick boy named Shawn (voiced by David Henrie) who discovers a world of little people living in the walls of his Aunt Jessica’s house and befriending a young girl named Arrietty (voiced by Bridgit Mendler) to the surprise and shock of her parents (Amy Poehler and Will Arnett) who prefer her to stay out of sight. The Blu-ray, which also includes a copy of the film on DVD, hits stores on May 22nd.
