Hosted by illusionist Nicholas Wallace, Seance is an immersive ghost story and theatrical experience in which the audience explores the history of the Victorian occult before building to an actual seance at the conclusion of the evening. Each night, a new audience member is chosen to be the medium, and not even the show’s creators know what to expect when communicating with the dead! Seance was a hit when it debuted in Hamilton in 2013, and we’re giving away two pairs of tickets to the official opening on Tuesday, September 29 at 7:30pm that kicks off the show’s two-week run in Toronto!
See below for details about how to enter. Seance runs from September 25 to October 11 at the Theatre Passe Muraille Mainspace (16 Ryerson Avenue) in Toronto, with daily performances at 7:30pm. There are also matinee shows at 2pm on Saturday and Sunday, as well as 10:30pm late night shows on October 3, 9, and 10. Tickets are on sale for $30-35.
EDIT: The original version of this post indicated that the tickets were for the preview show on September 24. That date has been changed due to technical difficulties at the theatre. The contest has been extended and this post has been updated to reflect the change. We apologize for any confusion.
For additional chances to win, enter your Twitter username or head on over to Twitter and tweet “I want @DorkShelf to send me to #Seance!“ Deadline for entries is Friday, September 25nd at 11:59pm.
