Enter for a chance to win one of three pairs of tickets to The Video Game Show, courtesy of Dork Shelf and the Bad Dog Theatre Company!
Part live gaming session, part unscripted comedy show, The Video Game Show is inspired by both classic and current console games. Led by our unbeatable hosts Andy Hull (Space Janitors, The Sketchersons) and Kris Siddiqi (Second City, Next Stage Festival’s Throne of Games), this unique show gives gamers a chance to see some of Toronto’s sharpest comedians test their might as they improvise scenes based on fan-favourite video games. Come cheer on (or heckle!) our guest players while they try to defeat some of the hardest games ever designed. The Video Game Show is back after last season’s buzzed-about finale that featured a guest appearance by X-Men screenwriter David Hayter – perhaps better known as the voice of Solid Snake in Metal Gear Solid.
The Video Game Show stars some of Toronto’s best and brightest sketch comedy performers, including Kris Siddiqi, Andy Hull, Alice Moran, Rob Norman, Sean Tabares, Kyle Dooley, Shauna Wootton, and Conor Bradbury. The next edition of the show takes place on Wednesday, February 26th at 8 PM @ Comedy Bar with special guest Norm Sousa (Never Ever Do This At Home). Tickets are $12/$10 students.
Here’s how you can enter to win a pair of tickets to Wednesday’s show! Simply email [email protected] with VIDEO GAME SHOW in the subject line. Please only one entry per household. Multiple entries will be eliminated. For additional chances to win, simply like the contest announcement on our Facebook page and/or re-Tweet the announcement from our Twitter. Contest open to Canadian residents only (and it helps if you’re going to be in the Greater Toronto Area this week). Deadline for entries is 12 pm on Wednesday, February 26th.
