Dork Shelf Redesign Launched

If you’re reading this then you have probably already noticed that the site looks a little bit different. Okay, so it looks a lot different. Thanks to the efforts of designer extraordinaire Paul Pritchard we have a totally revamped look for DorkShelf.com!

Aside from the visual overhaul, we have also added new functionality to the site. Key among these new elements is the “Featured Stories” banner at the top of the page. Here we will highlight breaking news, reviews, editorials and basically anything dorky we think you shouldn’t miss.

Keep in mind that this is still a work in progress. We wanted to have the site up and running in time for FanExpo and the 2010 Toronto International Film Festival. We plan to add to the look and feel of the site over the coming months, including social media integration, a dorky events calender, writer biographies and much more. All this means that it will be easier than ever to share and interact with fellow dorks in Toronto and beyond.

Be sure to check out Paul Pritchard’s official website for more info.
