AMC’s Halt and Catch Fire returns for its third season on August 23 and we’ve got an exclusive clip from the premiere episode!

In the clip, Gordon Clark (Scoot McNairy) warns the Mutiny crew not to underestimate Joe MacMillan (Lee Pace).

If you haven’t seen Halt and Catch Fire yet, think Mad Men with computers. Set in the cutthroat world of 1980s Silicon Valley, the series follows the trials and tribulations of a group of tech entrepreneurs trying to create the next big thing. It’s a fantastic show and also happens to have one of the coolest opening title sequences on TV right now.

Here’s the season 3 synopsis:

Mutiny leaves Texas for the big leagues of Silicon Valley. Founders Cameron and Donna search for the idea that will launch Mutiny as a significant industry player, but new collaborators test their partnership. Gordon struggles to find a place within his wife’s company as Joe builds upon his empire, reinventing himself with a bold play that shocks the Valley and sends him back into the lives of his former partners.
