Rookie Toronto Maple Leafs player Billy Duke (Art Hindle) falls in love with hippie singer Sherrie Nelson (Trudy Young). Can these star-crossed lovers make it work with the playoffs looming? Not if Leafs coach Fred Wares (John Vernon) has anything to do with it!
