Well, TIFF is upon us again here in the city of Toronto, but we know we have fans outside of our home base that would love to get in on all of the TIFF excitement, but today we have not one BUT TWO special contests involving advance screenings of films debuting on the opening night of the festival from our friends at Alliance Films that are EXCLUSIVE to residents of OTTAWA, HALIFAX, and WINNIPEG.
First up, and this one’s a big one, we want to send ten lucky winners and a guest of their choosing to the TIFF opening night film LOOPER when it debuts in their city on Wednesday, September 26th at 7:00pm.

In the futuristic action thriller Looper, time travel will be invented – but it will be illegal and only available on the black market. When the mob wants to get rid of someone, they will send their target 30 years into the past, where a “looper” – a hired gun, like Joe (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) – is waiting to mop up. Joe is getting rich and life is good… until the day the mob decides to “close the loop,” sending back Joe’s future self (Bruce Willis) for assassination. The film is written and directed by Rian Johnson (Brick, The Brother’s Bloom) and also stars Emily Blunt, Paul Dano, and Jeff Daniels.
