Vortex Conference and Competition Cancelled?

The boot camp portion of 2010 Vortex Game Conference and Competition scheduled to start on October 27th may have been cancelled. Update: An announcement was made this morning on the Vortex Competition website announcing that the competition portion of the event has been postponed until a later date.
