Run All Night Review

In a season notorious for film famine, a decent fast food action flick can taste like cinematic steak, which is why our newest critic ate up Run All Night.

Manny Review

Manny looks a Filipino boxing legend Manny Pacquiao with a balance between the laudatory and the critical.

Taken 3 Review

Taken 3 couldn’t be any weaker or any more of an unfunny, time wasting joke if its final scene ended with a thunderous fart noise. It doesn't give a damn about filmmaking or giving a paying audience a decent action movie.

A Million Ways To Die In The West Review

Say what you want about Seth MacFarlane, that man can write a “guy pooping into a hat” joke that’ll really make you think. But unfortunately, too much of A Million Ways To Die In The West is oddly serious and laugh-free.

Non-Stop Review

Non-Stop is great. It’s not great in the way that a traditional award winning kind of film should be great, but it’s a near perfect bit of action entertainment that solidifies Liam Neeson’s status as one of the best leading men the genre has ever had.

The Lego Movie Review

Everything about The Lego Movie is awesome. An astoundingly smart, gut busting comedy with an anti-corporate message tied into the greatest virtues of one of the most beloved brands on Earth, Phil Lord and Chris Miller's exceptional film for people of all ages deserves to be talked about in the same breath as Monsters Inc. and Fantastic Mr. Fox when talking about the best animated comedies of the new millennium.

Taken 2 Review

While the first Taken was a dirty revenge movie with a moral compass skewed beyond anything expected from Hollywood, Taken 2 is a more sanitized action feature that’s pleasures appeal primarily to those who love laughing themselves silly at the most ridiculous action fluff. Both are guilty pleasures, but this one is a little more difficult to defend. It’s not really a good movie in a traditional sense, yet it is far from boring and without trying has become the funniest action movie of the year.
