If you're one of those lucky few who do, you will have amazing, fantastic and astonishing times.

Along with it comes the announcement of the film's title: it will be officially referred to as The Amazing Spider-Man in all future news posts.

Thor Superbowl TV Spot

Superbowl viewers caught a quick glimpse of the God of Thunder tonight in the new TV spot for Thor. The Kenneth Branagh directed action epic stars Chris Hemsworth as the titular Norse god, robbed of his power and cast down to Earth by his father Odin. The film also stars Anthony Hopkins as Odin, and Natalie Portman as his love interest, Jane Foster.

Deadpool & Cable #26 Review

This book is hilarious. The series continues to be a wonderful send-up of the Marvel Universe, while having more action in each issue than all the Wolverine titles combined. The dialogue, or should I say, ‘internal narration’, is fantastically crafted. It transforms this title from being violence-for-sales-sake into a fun, slightly crazy, and witty read.

Fantastic Four #587 Review

The much hyped, oft-speculated Fantastic Four issue that had generated so much buzz with the promise of a major character death has finally arrived in stores. But for me, what is much more interesting than the death of ----- ------ is the comic’s availability to consumers a day early.

Scarlet #4 Review

Brian Michael Bendis and Alex Maleev deliver another stunning issue of Scarlet. The writing is superb, the art is unbelievable, and what really makes this comic so interesting to read, is its level of realism. From the premise, to the character’s motivations, through to the detailed illustration style, the whole comic feels more like a gritty documentary in the vein of Restrepo or The War Tapes than a fictional bi-monthly book.

First Look at X-Men: First Class Cast

We finally have our first look at the cast of Matthew Vaughn's upcoming X-Men prequel, X-Men: First Class, and the result are... well, kind of disappointing. Don't get us wrong, First Class has a pretty stellar cast led by Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy as Magneto and Professor Xavier respectively — Maybe we were just expecting more from this first picture?

New Captain America & Thor Images

Update: Added high resolution versions, plus another Captain Amerca image courtesy of Paramount. Entertainment Weekly has posted two brand-new photos of Captain America and Thor. Both characters are part of the upcoming Avengers film and have respective movies coming out this year.

Ultimate Captain America #1 Review

Jason Aaron and Ron Garney team up for the first Ultimate Captain America mini-series. And even though the marquee talent involved should assure reader’s of a quality comic, the Ultimate line has had some spectacular failures as characters have been given their own title. Does Ultimate Captain America stack up, or does it follow in the footsteps of other Mark Millar-less Ultimate universe books?

Avengers: The Children’s Crusade #4 Review

In the flood of Avengers titles that followed the end of Siege and the start of the Heroic Age, one of the better reads has been Avengers: The Children's Crusade… which sadly has not received the attention it is due. After a series of disappointing tie-ins with the Marvel event of the moment, the Young Avengers team seemed to have lost a lot of the fun and interest that it’s first two trade paperbacks had sparked in me. But this latest series has brought back the original creative team that made the title so much fun to start with.

The comic world was filled with ups and downs in 2010, here we'll share with you some of the highlights and our personal favourites of the year. We shall save the disappointments for another time... or a podcast.

Thor Trailer Thunders Online

Marvel has released the first official trailer for Thor. The Kenneth Branagh directed action epic stars Chris Hemsworth as the titular Norse god of thunder, robbed of his power and cast down to Earth by his father Odin. Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes Review

We had a chance to see the first two episodes of the new Marvel animated series Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes. The show has some big shoes to fill, but Marvel has learned from their missteps and enlisted some serious talents to help mold this show into something that can be held up with the other fantastic comic book-based animation. Marvel Studios has totally nailed it.
