TV
If you’re one of the many people who think Canadian TV is crappy, maybe it’s time you stop tuning in to Little Mosque on the Prairie and start watching SPACE network’s Todd and the Book of Pure Evil. This home-grown Canuck series finishes off tonight with an hour long bound to be epic season finale and believe us, this show is worth watching.
Inside HBO’s Game of Thrones
Prior to the season finale of Boardwalk Empire, HBO offered a 15 minute behind-the-scenes look at their new fantasy series Game of Thrones. The sprawling series is based on the Song of Ice and Fire novels by author and former TV scribe George R. R. Martin. Game of Thrones revolves around the medieval world of Westeros, a turbulent kingdom where the ruling houses vie for control of the coveted Iron Throne.
Are You Watching
The Walking Dead?
If you haven't been watching AMC's The Walking Dead this season, what have you been doing?! Since the season is only six episodes long, there's still time for you to catch up before tonight's presumably awesome finale.

Glee-Tastic: A Glee Episode Review
Our new TV Dork, Kathleen tackles Glee and tackles it hard. No show on TV can make me feel such an array of emotions with a single episode... Anger, embarrassment, disbelief, and nausea to name a few. Let me start off by saying, I get why people enjoy this show. It’s light and it’s fun, the characters are endearing, the musical numbers are interesting, and the guest stars are huge. That being said, this show makes me want to punch something.
Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes Review
We had a chance to see the first two episodes of the new Marvel animated series Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes. The show has some big shoes to fill, but Marvel has learned from their missteps and enlisted some serious talents to help mold this show into something that can be held up with the other fantastic comic book-based animation. Marvel Studios has totally nailed it.
Stargate Universe
“Aftermath” Review
Last week's episode Stargate Universe provided a nice conclusion to the cliffhanger ending of season one, but also left many issues unresolved. Things are starting to get back to normal aboard the Destiny, or at least as close to normalcy as it can get on a ship lost on the other side of the universe.
Stargate Universe
“Incursion (Part 3)” Review
Incursion (Part 3) is the third part of the cliffhanger season one finale of SGU. Members of the Lucian Alliance have boarded the Destiny and taken members of the crew hostage. TJ (Alaina Huffman) has been shot and the life of her and her unborn child hang in the balance. The Lucian leader, Kiva, has also been shot in the struggle, leading to tension amongst the guerrillas. With their leader incapacitated, Kiva's subordinates begin to squabble over the leadership of the group, with one sect wanting to treat the Destiny's crew humanely and the other opting to just kill them all.
Interview
David Blue
of Stargate Universe
We caught up with Stargate Universe actor David Blue at Fan Expo this year and were very pleased to discover that he more than lives up to his character's dorky reputation. Blue plays resident geek Eli Wallace on the sci-fi series, helping to save the Destiny with his genius and dropping delightfully nerdy references in a charming, yet slightly inept attempt to lighten the mood of his fellow space castaways.
Interview with Johnny Yong Bosch
of Bleach and Power Rangers
Johnny Yong Bosch was one of the featured guests at this week’s Fan Expo Canada in Toronto. At two panels last Sunday he took questions from large crowds of fans about his career. Many current fans will know him as the voice of Ichigo in the English dubbed version of the anime Bleach, as well […]

Doctor Who in Review
When the BBC announced five years or more ago that they would be remounting the classic Doctor Who series, I was both thrilled and scared. I was raised on British television, and Doctor Who was always my favourite. While it has its ups and downs, I longed to be the Doctor (never the companion – […]

The Hollywood Reporter and several other outlets are reporting that HBO has given the greenlight for a ten episode order of Game of Thrones. The TV series, which is based on George R.R. Martin’s extremely popular A Song of Ice and Fire novels, shot its pilot in the UK and Morocco late last year. Thrones […]

We talked about his […]
