DC Universe dropped some exciting news at San Diego Comic-Con this past weekend. The streaming service unveiled a full-length trailer for their upcoming Harley Quinn animated series, and the series looks “Fantabulous.”
“The series will focus on a newly single Harley Quinn, who sets off to make it on her own in Gotham City.”
Harley Quinn Trailer:
This show has a foul-mouthed and irreverent Deadpool-type of vibe. It’s a whirlwind of manic energy, colourful animation, and larger-than-life characters. But what stands out is the stellar voice cast.
The Big Bang Theory’s Kaley Cuoco stars as Harley, Sanaa Lathan is Catwoman, and Alan Tudyk plays the Joker. The show also features Lake Bell, JB Smoove, Jim Rash, Ron Funches, Jason Alexander, Wanda Sykes, and Giancarlo Esposito. Damn…
There’s still no word on when the show will debut, but it’s slated for a 2019 release.
