The TSO Presents: Star Wars: Return of the Jedi – In Concert

Experience Star Wars like Never Before

Starting tomorrow night at Roy Thomson Hall, the Toronto Symphony Orchestra (TSO) has a special treat for Star Wars fans. The TSO is kicking off the latest entry in their Star Wars Film Concert Series with a screening of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. Lucky attendees get to watch Return of the Jedi as the TSO performs live alongside the movie.

I’ve been to a handful of these types of events, and even if you don’t dig going to the orchestra, I recommend everybody attends at least one. Hearing a symphony perform your favourite movie scores elicits the best kind of movie high. You get the electric thrills of a live concert combined with the sweet nostalgia of classic John Williams music; there’s nothing else like it.

If you get a kick out of TSO’s Return of the Jedi concert, their next Star Wars event is already on the calendar. On May 7, 2020, they’ll be perform the first film in the latest trilogy, Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

Star Wars: Return of the Jedi In Concert:

In the spectacular sixth episode of the Star Wars saga, the fate of the entire galaxy hangs in the balance as father and son face off in the ultimate battle of good versus evil. Revisit the original trilogy’s climactic finale and experience John Williams’s grand, emotional score like never before as the TSO performs it live with the film!
