First Finding Dory Trailer Swims into View

I’m not gonna lie. I’d sort of forgotten that Finding Dory was happening, which makes the new trailer more than a little unexpected. Fortunately, it makes up for that with the same warmth and wit that charmed audiences in 2003’s Finding Nemo. The upcoming Pixar movie focuses on Ellen DeGeneres’ forgetful Dory, who seems to have remembered that she has a family even if she can’t quite remember where she left it. She doesn’t appear to be lost in the same way that Nemo was lost – it’s more of an existential thing – but I don’t think anyone will mind if it means we get more banter between Dory and Albert Brooks’ adorably beleaguered clown fish Marlin.

Finding Dory reunites Ellen DeGeneres (Dory) and Albert Brooks (Marlin), with Hayden Rolence’s Nemo also present and accounted for as part of the proceedings. The cast also includes Diane Keaton, Eugene Levy, Idris Elba, Willem Dafoe, Ty Burrell, and Ed O’Neill (no word on the rest of the cast of Modern Family). Finding Dory is slated for release on June 17, 2016.
