Begin Again, filmmaker John Carney’s musically minded feature length follow-up to the genuinely charming Irish sleeper hit Once, has all the energy, talent, and drive of a dire, out of tune cover band that has deluded itself quite terribly into thinking all its members are swaggering rock and roll gods and goddesses.

Alarmingly misguided, horribly directed, astoundingly racist, and insanely incomprehensible, the McG/Luc Besson/Kevin Costner team-up 3 Days to Kill best's last week's previous low water mark set by Winter's Tale as the worst major studio release of 2013 so far, leading us further down one of the worst starts to any year in film history.

Ender’s Game Review

Ender's Game might be the perfect example of why sites like Rotten Tomatoes or even simple grading systems should be abolished in film criticism. It's a film that gets just as much right as it does wrong, delighting and maddening in almost equal amount. It defies recommendation and condemnation in the same breath, but it sure is interesting to talk about in depth.
