It’s impossible to resist an underdog story, especially when it’s a true story!
Directed by the Erwin Brothers, American Underdog follows Kurt Warner (Zachary Levi), a man who went from stocking grocery store shelves to becoming a two-time NFL MVP, Super Bowl champion, and Hall of Fame quarterback. After years of battling challenges and setbacks—that all could’ve derailed his NFL aspirations—his wife, Brenda (Anna Paquin) and the encouragement of his family, coaches, and teammates allows Warner to persevere and find the strength to show the world the champion that he already is.
American Underdog hits theatres on December 25 but That Shelf wants to send you and a friend to see an advance screening in either Toronto, Montreal, Edmonton or Halifax, courtesy of Mongrel Media!
