In Jesse Noah Klein’s upcoming black comedy, Best Boy , three adult children (Aaron Abrams, Caroline Dhavernas, and Marc Bendavid) and their elderly mother (Lise Roy) return to their long-dormant summer home to take part in a bizarre, sadistic competition that was held 30 years earlier and tore the family apart. Why? Because their tyrannical, abusive father has passed away, and left them one final indignity—they must compete for the title of family “Best Boy” to gain his fortune.

After a successful run of the film festival circuit earlier this year, Best Boy is set to hit Canadian theatres in May and VOD in the U.S. later in 2026.
