This looks like it’s going to be a very big week for Star Wars fans or anyone looking forward to the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Today, we got a wonderful new poster for the film (pictured below) and tomorrow fans of a galaxy far, far away will be treated to a brand new trailer for the highly anticipated movie. Set to air at halftime during Monday Night Football on TSN (see a 15-second tease below), the arrival of the trailer will be when tickets for the film will go on sale across the country.
Is that a new Death Star of some kind we see?
In addition to the new poster and the hype for the incoming trailer, Disney also announced a series of Star Wars marathon events playing at select theatres across North America on December 17th. The marathon will include all six of the previous Star Wars movies, beginning with The Phantom Menace and concluding with the opening of Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
