We first saw this insane first person action flick when it premiered at TIFF last year as simply Hardcore and it was easily one of our favourite films in the festival’s famed Midnight Madness program that year. When it was later released in theatres as Hardcore Henry, we got the chance to speak with the brilliant performer Shartlo Copley (of District 9 fame) who plays multiple roles in the film. Needless to say we’re fans of this highly explosive debut from director Ilya Naishuller.
