Game of Thrones Themed Music from Florence and the Machine, SZA, The Weeknd, and Travis Scott

Are you positively quivering in anticipation of the Battle of Winterfell? Do you have your death pools ready for who is likely to survive and live past episode three? And do you need something to tide you over until the battle happens? I may have just the thing for you!

In Episode 8×02, “A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms,” Podrick Payne (Daniel Portman) serenaded all of us with his beautiful voice. The song, “Jenny of Oldstones,” was covered by none other than Florence and the Machine over the end credits. HBO was not done with just those two snippets, however, and released a gorgeous lyrical video of the song.

If that wasn’t enough to satiate your musical appetite as you wait for Episode 8×03, HBO sent us a further gift from the gods with the announcement of a new compilation album: “For the Throne.” One of the original pieces from the album, “Power Is Power,” comes to us from none other than the incredibly talented SZA, The Weeknd, and Travis Scott. Feast on these gorgeous visuals and if you’re like me, then completely overanalyze the video!

What do you think of the songs? What do you think they say about Game of Thrones in both its internal story and its incredible impact on pop culture? Chime in below!
