On the latest minisode of The Shelf, we have a fascinating conversation with French filmmaker Olivier Assayas, director of Personal Shopper, a supernatural drama starring Kristen Stewart.
The film – which opens at the TIFF Bell Lightbox in Toronto on March 24th – earned rave reviews at TIFF last year. It was there, along with some other journalists, that we spoke with Assayas about the film, his continued collaboration with Stewart, whether he considers the movie a genre film or not, and who some of his favourite horror directors are.
