Remember that Avengers game teased way back in 2017? Well, it still exists and it’s coming out in 2020! Not satisfied with dominating multiplexes, Marvel and Square Enix showed of the first in-game footage from Marvel’s Avengers during the latter’s presentation at E3 2019 – and we have the trailer for you right here. Captain America, Iron Man, Black Widow, the Hulk, and Thor are all here, and something extremely not good is happening in San Francisco.

Given the success of Sony’s recent Spider-Man game is it any wonder Marvel is trying to get their high profile superteam in on the action? A game that let’s you play as all of the World’s Mightiest Heroes (and heroes like Ant-Man in DLC naturally) is sure to be an appealing prospect to any Marvel fan. Comic book and movie tie-in video games have been famously hit and miss, but the fact that this upcoming game is not tied to the release of any tentpole movie is a definite positive for <cite>Marvel’s Avengers</cite>.
