Andrew Roberts
Andrew Roberts is a graduate of the University of Toronto, where it only took one look at Wong Kar-wai’s In the Mood for Love for him to continue taking classes at the Cinema Studies Institute. He later went on to earn his master’s in journalism from Toronto Metropolitan University. Over five years of covering the arts, Andrew has written for Exclaim!, This Magazine, Film Matters, The Review of Journalism, and his own Substack, The Ferryman. When away from the cinema, he enjoys peanut M&Ms, The Strokes, playing JRPGs, and having a totally healthy relationship with Letterboxd, @robatss.
